A year ago this weekend ( our baby girls)

This is going to be a hard weekend and week for me. It all started a year ago this weekend I was 20 weeks pregnant with the girls. I wasn't feeling to well so I called the dr. I told them my symptoms and they told me to take it easy I was having some Braxton hicks contractions so I thought this was a Saturday so I put myself on bed rest for the weekend. Sunday I just slept most of the day and Monday I was feeling a little better so I got up and did a few things I remember being sick throwing up all day Monday. Once again I didn't think anything about it. I felt so Stupid for not seeing or putting all the symptoms together then Tuesday morning I woke up and had lots of back pain and I couldn't go to the bathroom I woke Zach up and told him I was going to call the dr. He never misses any of the appt. It was early I didn't want to get Hudson up so early he was on 7 months at the time. So I told him it was probably just a bladder infection and I would be fine and for him to stay home. So I drove myself to the hospital where my normal dr was that day.

I was at the dr and I was having to wait I didn't fill my contractions so I didn't think I was I'n labor. They told me to go to the bathroom so they could check my urine but I tried for like 10 min and I couldn't go. They moved me to the room and dr Giddens came I'n I told him what was going on and that's when he checked my cervix and that's when my world came crashing down I knew something was wrong when he told me to cough. It wasn't good. I just started to cry. Next thing he told me was Kristin your I'n labor. I was I'n shock how could this be and how come my body couldn't hold my baby girls in. We went over on what would happen next. He told me to call Zach and have him up here ASAP. This all was a blur to me as I was calling Zach I could barley get I'n a word because I was crying so hard all I could get out was hurry it's not good. He was trying to find a sitter for Hudson and it felt like forever I was on my own and terrified. Dr Giddens sent me to a specialty ultrasound tech so we could see what the girls were doing it turns out they had TTTS ( twin to twin transfusion syndrome ) it only happens I'n identical twins. Mallory was taking all of Marys fluids and nutrients. Zach finally made it there and he was so strong aNd just being there for me. By then the contractions were coming on strong. I got wheeled into a room and hooked up to monitors and meds to try and stop the labor.
Giddens came I'n with a plan. It turns out my my fluid was too much so he was going to do an animo I think that's what u call it to drain some of the fluid off my belly and sew up my cervix then the next day they were going to fly me to Houston tx to get a laser surgery to help the girls out with the TTTS. Then if that worked then I was to stay I'n the hospital till I had the babies. That sounded like a plan. I really don't remember much after that I was I'n a daze. I also didn't know that my life was at risk also. I'm probably skipping allot of details. I was I'n the room with the nurses and they had my bed turned up to wear my head was almost touching the ground to relieve pressure off my cervix. The dr was talking to zack about what was going to happen. He said if this failed He needed to take the babies because they were also harming my body. He knew We both new deep down the babies were I'n trouble. All the medicine they were giving me made me sick and I threw up that's when I felt my water broke and I just started to scream no and crying my blood pressure was dropping and they told me i had to push. I don't Remember
what time I would have to look back at my post a year ago but it was on the afternoon our beautiful baby girls were born on Tuesday March 2. They were with us for about 45 min. Zach and I held them forever. they weighed a little over a pound each. We had the chaplain come in. A New Journey In Our Life

My Baby I mean Toddler is starting Preschool next week. I have mixed emotions but I am mainly very excited he loves to dance and loves loves to read books so Zach and I were thinking it would be very good for him to be around other kids and to get him in before the new baby comes so he doesn't fill neglected. We went and he registered today and did great he loved the classroom. One day a week they have a bible study class which I think is awesome. Its not just a MDO program its actually a board certified preschool. He has been on a waiting list since I found out I was 3 months pregnant with him. They called right after the twins passed and said that he got in but I just didn't think it was the right time. I fill really blessed because when I called he was #4 on the list and she kinda bumped us in a class which she said rarely never happens so I'm feeling this was meant to be and its time for him to go he will be going only 2 times a week then next year we will do 3times. So I went and ordered a lunch box with his name on it and some more cups and a nap sack I'm just so excited for him to come home and tell me what he learned and the crafts and at the end of the year they put together a scrapbook. So excited to started this new journey.

A New Bath Toy AKA Gross

So out of all of the 18 months I have been bathing my child he has never once pooped in the tub. My friend always told me it would happen one day but I figured I would cross that bridge when I got there Well today my friends I was there ha. I had just got done feeding Hudson Zach was still at work he ate two hot dogs and half a tub of strawberries. He was a mess so I gave him a bath. We were playing and he stood up and I heard him toot I laughed and said don't you do it. Then Zach called and I was talking to him and told him Hudson just pooped in the tub and I had to go. Hudson started to laugh when he saw what he did so I got him out and was cleaning out the tub and he walked in our room and peed on the carpet so nice ha ha. What can you do nothing but laugh its the little things in life that make you laugh. I'm writing this down in the mommy book. Ha have a good night.

Sunday Zoo Day

It was beautiful this weekend. So we soaked it up. Sunday we got up and went to eat breakfast and it was Amazing well any food is to me right now but still ha ha. Then we decided to go to the Zoo along with every other person but it was a perfect day to go. Mimi meet us there and we enjoyed a great fun filled day at the Zoo. Then we went to go eat at Pearls Oyster Bar it was really good and it was just a real nice time we all had together. Hudson hadn't had a nap the whole day so he was worn out when we got home well I cant lie we all were. We called it a night and went to be early. Here's some Zoo pictures.

Movement:Lots of movement All.The.Time He moves more than Hudson ever thought about moving every time he moves I love it that's his way of telling me hes growing strong.



Sleep: little tough now need lots of pillows and I leave Zach little room

A Tale of a Waxing and a Wreck

Let me tell you it started off as a really good day. I was excited to go to the spa and have some me time. Zach watched Hudson for me. So it was off to the spa. I have never gotten anything waxed before except my eyebrows. I was curious about how a bikini or even a Brazilian wax would work or fill. So I just went for it my belly is getting big and its hard to shave my legs much less anything else. Let me tell you its not as bad as I thought Ive read so many different things about how your more sensitive down there and the blood flow so I'm not going to lie I was sweating bullets when I walked threw the door. It was very nice and the people made you fill welcomed and comfortably. I was very please with it and will totally be back it just makes sense to have it done and am really bummed that I didn't do this earlier. So I was done in a great mood and on my way to get my Pedi. So I Thought.....

I was at a red light turning right and this guy was in front of me and I keep thinking why is this fool not going no one was coming well last thing I saw was this dude pulling out into the intersection and STOPPING so what happened to me that's right I hit him right in the freaking butt. Smashed his bumper in but it didn't hurt my car my super ford explorer that's thing has been threw hell and back and has treated me so good I love my car. So me being pregnant am so thankful the airbag didn't go off. That's all I need is for something to happen to this beautiful baby, He wasn't hurt and he didn't call the cops I think because he knew it was sorta his fault and I was pregnant and didn't want me to get a ticket. So we exchanged info and insurance and that was that. What a great way to end the day. I'm thankful no one was hurt and that Baby Boy and I were OK. So when I thought the waxing would be bad the freaking wreck was worse. I hope every one has a great rest of the weekend. See y'all Monday. For my 26 week post. So excited

Valentine's Day

We had the best Valentines Day. It started off a great day anyway because it was so pretty outside. I got Zachs and Hudsons gifts wrapped and we had gone out ti dinner Friday night without Hudson so we were going to grill out steaks and stuff as a family. We went to the store last mintute and there was no meat left so then we just decided to go somewhere. That was fun trying to find a place but we finally decided on a place by our house that has pretty good steaks. We came home and opened gifts and just spent the night togeather as a family it was great and one of the best Valentines Days Ive had in a while. I got Zach a portable Scanner for his office and he loved it. We got Hudson some toys and candy and a pillow pet. He loves loves loves the pillow pet he even sleep with it last night. Zach and Hudson got me a new Pandora Bracelet this will be my third one but its differnt than my others it the leather strap and I absolutely love it along with two more charms.

Weekend Fun

This weekend started of very nice it was in the mid 50s and this whole week is supposed to be in the 60s and 70s what a great week it will be. We started off the week with a sick baby. He has a cold and runny nose and didn't sleep for almost two day but were back on track now. We were in Target and Zach found out the he was cutting two molars in the back so that was the main problem. Friday Mimi(MIL) said that she would watch Hudson for the night so we went to an Early V day dinner. When I got home from work Friday I had these lovely things waiting on me
 
They we so good I wouldn't mind getting some more today ha.Then it was off to Carrabba's it was so good and so nice to be alone just Zach and I. Dinner was very good I wish I would of got pictures but we didn't. Then Sat it was kinda a lazy day I cleaned and we played alittle and Hudson was finding lots of was to keep his self entertained. Then Sunday was a pretty day it was in the 60s we were going to go to the Zoo along with the rest of Memphis but we held off. So we just played out side for a little bit and then went out to eat. 25 Weeks

25 Weeks

I'm 25 weeks today and its Valentine's Day. This week has went perfect no scares or anything. I'm feeling a little pelvic pressure but that's normal. The only thing is mt boobs really hurt like when I used to breast feed Hudson when I didn't nurse him on time I get this sharp pain in my boobs so ill ask my Dr about that next time. My next time at the Dr ill have my Glucose test done I picked the lovely orange drink I think it just taste like a flat orange coke. We have decided to go with the 4D ultrasound so ill be scheduling an appt for that. My cravings have been anything sour lemon aid love it and now that its Vday Zach got me 2 boxes of Chocolate Covered Strawberries and On my were they good I'm probaly up a few pounds since Friday. Baby boy is doing great and moving and kicking like a champ. I told Zach we needed a name by the end of the week. One of my friends is going to take our family pictures soon as soon as he picks a name and I cant wait she does wonderful work. Well I hope y'all have a wonderful Vday and rest of the week.

Weekend Fun and Birthdays and Snow

So I'm like a whole week behind on these post so there not from this weekend there from the weekend before. We had allot of fun last weekend we had a Birthday party to go to on Saturday from one of the girls from high school her little girl was turning 3 and she had here party and Pump it Up. That's like a big party room with lots of blow up mazes and slides and games. Hudson had a blast I couldn't get too many pictures because it was so hectic. Zach was supposed to meet us there but had got caught up with work because some contractor jacked allot of stuff up so he didn't get to make it which was sad for Hudson because he didn't get to do much I was not going to try to fight these kids climbing up this rope and inflatable steps being 6 months pregnant and plus I don't think they would of let me either Thank Goodness one of our friends took him a few times on the slide and he loved it I only got 1 picture of them sliding down which was sad but it will be OK.

He really enjoyed it.

Then we went home and waited for Zach and got ready for Dinner with friends we had so much fun and it was great catching up. Nicole's little boy Phoenix is just 2 weeks younger than Hudson and he is so funny and outgoing they had so much fun together. Here are some pictures.

 Monday was unexpected so we got about 2 inches of snow which this is like a record for Memphis to get snow so far this year so I went to the store and got some goodies and we stayed in and watched movies. We didn't get out in the snow this time because we were pretty much over it. O we did go eat lunch with Mimi and had a wonderful time at Firebirds it was so good. Then as we were watching the news they were predicting a big snow storm Wed. No one really ever pays attention to the news because most of the time there wrong but this time they were right I was going crazy being locked up in the house half the week so I was about to get Hudson up and go grab a bite to eat. But it started to snow and it was a little crazy so we just stayed in plus Hudson was getting alittle sick turns out he has a cold and is getting two more molars nice.
We ended up getting 4 to 6 inches of snow and when Zach got home I begged him to take us out to eat because we were locked up for a few days so we journey out into the snow and got somethings to eat. The only time Hudson got to play in the snow was when we went to the mailbox and let him get in the driveway I didn't want him to get worse than what he was and then Daddy kicked snow on him and he would just laugh.

24 Weeks plus a little scare

I am 24 Pregnant. Just a tad little behind.

Ive been feeling pretty good lately had some pelvic pressure and some back pain and that's about it.
My cravings have been the same and really everything has been the same so I wont bore you with the survey. I had a Dr appt a week ago Friday and I was up 2 lbs and everything looked great. The little scare I had was when I was 23 weeks pregnant and a few days. I had terrible pains in my stomach that I didn't really know what it was but its a little embarrassing but it turned out to be gas huh got to love it but I took some meds and went to bed and felt alittle better. Thursday was the big scare it all started around 5pm Zach and I were going to dinner and I started to have a few Braxton Hicks it was more than 4 and hour but they really weren't hurting just alittle uncomfortable. So we went to eat and I downed lots and lots of water that seemed to help alittle well they started back up around 10 that's when I started to get worried they were coming back and I just had lots and lots of pressure on my belly. Then my lower back started to hurt that's what really scared me I had really bad back labor with the twins and I was honestly thinking this was it and I was just about to reach 24 weeks this cant be happeing again. I told Zach we might need to go to the ER I didn't want to freak him out. I called the 24 hour nurse and she said to time them and if I really felt that I had to go to the ER go. They all know my history because Ive literally been pregnant for almost 4 years now... I took some meds to try to calm down and just relax she told me to try to go to the bathroom and see if that helped the baby was moving so much so I wasn't really that worried and I know deep down that this was not real labor and decided to hold off because I had a Dr appt the next day. I went to the bath room and felt a little better and just began to pray to God to keep this baby boy safe and I let him know that I knew he was in control and we were in good hands. So I laid down and got some rest. The next day the Dr appt went great he checked me and I was still Thick, and Closed just what I wanted to hear the Heartbeat was great and as he was doing it the baby kicked the wand off my belly it was so funny. So things are great and I have made it another week I fill so blessed for everything I have. This baby is a kicker and he moves all the time I don't think he ever sleeps it was so different with Hudson he only moved early in the morning or late at night I cant wait to meet this baby boy. I told Zach he better come up with a name this week I have stuff to buy and were ordering his bedding and I want it monogrammed and it take 6 to 7 weeks to make it. So its another little way for me to put pressure on him for the name. I hope y'all have a great weekend and Vday.
